Time and Intention

Kim was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Kim received a BFA from the University of Georgia. She owned and operated Modern Primitive Gallery with husband. Her work is published by Wendover Art Group. Her paintings, both abstract and representational, are in many corporate and private collections as well as, Embassies. Most recently, the Latvian and Liberian embassies. Kim has shown at several galleries in the south and boasts a lengthy cv.

Her styles are always changing and she does not like to be stagnant in one medium. Kim believes in the humanness of art stating "it is important to me to express the human experience and to honor the work of our hands, hearts, and minds. To love and cherish the natural world and animal kingdom". Kim tells stories through her work and her representational work especially are time stamps and vignettes of her world rich in nature. On a typical day you can find Kim painting, sewing, creating or enjoying time with her daughter, husband and their pets.
